During the height of the pandemic, Eugenio collaborated with bassist Matt Dwonszyk and drummer Jonathan Barber to workshop her music regularly. The trio quickly developed a strong chemistry based on Eugenio's brilliant compositions. After it was safe to do so, they entered the studio and recorded eight original tracks that range from the introspective "Tres" to the funk-infused "Raccoon Tune." Eugenio's maturity and strength as a tenor saxophonist shine through on two standard tracks, "Flamingo" and "Crazy He Calls Me," that complete the album.
